On 28th June 2025, Connor Burrows, Curt Jackson, Gary Tomlinson, James Whitlock, Luke Heywood, and Peter Gregson will take part in the Peak District Ultra Challenge to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation.

Five of the team – Connor, Gary, James, Luke, and Peter – will take on the 52km (32-mile) Bakewell North loop, which features an elevation gain of 1,250m (4,100ft) – nearly the height of Ben Nevis. They’re expected to be on their feet for around 12 hours, hiking non-stop through the demanding Peak District terrain.

To put that into perspective, it’s like walking from our Rochdale office to Leeds – with a mountain climb thrown in!

Meanwhile, Curt Jackson is taking the challenge to another level entirely. He’ll be tackling the 100km continuous route, starting and finishing in Bakewell, with a staggering 2,150m (7,050ft) of elevation along the way. It’s an incredible test of endurance, determination, and grit.

The team has set a fundraising target of £2,500, and every donation – big or small – will help support the British Heart Foundation’s life-saving work.

We’re incredibly proud of the team for taking on such a huge challenge, and we wish them the very best of luck. Let’s get behind them and help make a real difference! 💪🔥
