We would like to thank all our clients, suppliers & subcontractors for their continued hard work & commitment to A&F Sprinklers Ltd during what has been another extremely busy year.
As we approach the Christmas period, a time when companies often choose to express thanks and gratitude by exchanging gifts, we find that many other sectors including charities are still struggling as a result of the current economic climate.
We will therefore be making donations to these fantastic local organisations & we encourage others to make a suitable donation to a deserving cause, instead of giving gifts to us & our employees.
Rochdale Foodbank (https://rochdale.foodbank.org.uk/) - a project founded by local churches & community groups with the aim of stopping hunger in their area. It's located on South Parade, Rochdale OL16 1LR and Wesley Street, Smallbridge OL12 9RW.
Heywood Foodbank (https://www.facebook.com/SupportHeywoodFoodbank/) - run by a group of volunteers & supported by the Heywood SVP society, the Foodbank hands out food parcels to those who need the help. They're located on Adelaide Street, Heywood OL10 4HE.
Middleton Central Foodbank (https://middletoncentral.foodbank.org.uk/) - part of the Lighthouse Project, which is a supportive community hub that helps with food in times of crisis as well as other things like basic computer skills training, employability help & a variety of activities & social groups. You can drop off donations at Middleton Shopping Centre, Limetrees Road, Middleton M24 4EL.
Todmorden Food Drop In (https://localgiving.org/charity/todfooddropin/) - a wonderful charity that acts as a foodbank covering Todmorden, Hebden Bridge and surrounding areas. They also give out free hot food & drink when they're open, & offer a safe space for people to meet & seek support. They're located at Todmorden College, Burnley Road, Todmorden, West Yorkshire OL14 7BX.
